Schulte Vision Trainer Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the Schulte Vision Trainer mobile app. It explains what information may be collected when you use the app, how it is used, and what choices you have.
This policy applies to the app only. The Quartenson website has a separate website privacy policy. If you open Quartenson guides, legal pages, feedback pages, or other external links from the app, you leave the app and the destination service or website policy applies. App-to-web links may include basic referral or app context metadata.
If you have questions, you can reach us at quartenson.support@gmail.com.
1. Information We Collect
Analytics & Usage Data
We may use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used, such as screens visited, session behavior, exercise/review interactions, notification opens, device type, operating system version, app version/build, locale, timezone, and similar technical or usage events. This information helps us improve the product.
The app may also locally check automated test or review environment signals to decide whether analytics should be enabled.
Crash Reports
We may use Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose technical issues. Crash reports can include technical details such as device model, operating system version, and stack traces.
Account Information (Google Sign-In)
If you sign in with Google Sign-In, we may receive account fields such as your Google user ID, display name, email address, and profile or avatar URL. We use this to identify your app account, support premium entitlement checks, and manage account-related requests where relevant.
Local App Data
Training statistics, session history, reviews, preferences, split/tap telemetry, daily-goal data, reminder settings, and similar progress data may be stored locally on your device so the app can provide history, insights, and continuity between sessions.
Feedback Form
If you submit feedback from the app, we may send the feedback message and feedback type you provide to Quartenson's backend together with technical context such as a stable app install ID, platform, app version/build, locale, and timezone. This information is stored so we can review feedback, understand issues, and improve the app.
Advertising
The free version of the app may use Google AdMob, including rewarded ads. AdMob may process identifiers such as the advertising ID to serve ads and manage ad delivery.
The app may use Google Mobile Ads consent tools, including Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), to request or manage advertising consent and privacy options before ad requests are made where required.
Premium and Subscription Verification
If you purchase premium access or a subscription through Google Play, we may process purchase tokens, product IDs, subscription status, stable install ID, app/build metadata, and linked Google account fields such as email, Google user ID, display name, and profile/avatar URL when needed to verify entitlements and manage premium access. We do not receive your full payment card details.
User-Initiated Sharing, Export, and Import
The app may let you share session-result PNG images, export CSV backups, or import CSV backups through native share sheets and file pickers. When you choose a third-party app or service, that destination receives the file or information you selected. CSV backups may include session history, split/tap telemetry, settings, and daily-goal data.
Local Notifications and Reminders
The app may request notification permission for local exercise or review reminders. Notification delivery is handled by your device operating system. Opens or interactions with reminders may be logged in analytics to understand reminder usefulness.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate, maintain, and improve the app.
- To analyze usage patterns and prioritize product improvements.
- To diagnose crashes, bugs, and stability issues.
- To manage sign-in, premium access, subscriptions, and ad features.
- To process feedback, diagnose reported issues, and prioritize product improvements.
- To support local reminders, user-initiated sharing, backup export/import, and privacy or consent choices.
- To support account deletion and related user requests.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers used to operate the app, including:
- Google / Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, and authentication.
- Google AdMob for advertising and monetization.
- Google Play for billing and subscription management.
- Quartenson backend services for feedback review, account-related requests, and premium entitlement verification.
- Third-party apps or services you choose when you share a result image or export a backup file from the app.
4. Data Retention
Retention periods depend on the type of data and the service provider involved. Locally stored training data remains on your device until you remove app data through the app or operating system where supported, or uninstall the app. Provider-managed analytics or billing records may be retained under their own retention settings and legal obligations.
Account deletion removes server-side Premium account data and sign-in linkage controlled by Quartenson, subject to legal, security, and backup retention needs. When an account is deleted, we may keep a non-account-linked paid entitlement snapshot for verification purposes. This snapshot contains only the entitlement source type, access start time, access end time, and whether the entitlement was active at the time of deletion. It does not include user ID, install ID, purchase ID, purchase token, email, Google account ID, profile data, or other account identifiers. Account deletion does not delete training statistics stored locally on your device, CSV backups you exported, files you shared, or Google Play billing and provider records controlled by Google.
5. Your Choices
- You can manage ad personalization through your device settings where supported.
- You can manage ad consent and privacy options through Google Mobile Ads/UMP controls when they are shown in the app.
- You can allow, deny, or later change notification permissions through your device settings.
- You choose whether to share result images or export CSV backups, and you choose the destination app or service.
- You can contact us to request information about app-related personal data we control.
- You can delete your account by following the steps on the account deletion page .
6. Account Deletion
Schulte Vision Trainer allows users to delete their account directly in the app. Deleting the account removes server-side Premium account data and sign-in linkage controlled by Quartenson, but it does not remove local training data from your device, non-account-linked paid entitlement snapshots kept for verification, or records controlled by Google Play, Google Sign-In, Firebase, AdMob, or other third-party providers. For full instructions and deletion scope, see the account deletion page .
7. Children's Privacy
The app is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will review the request.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date on this page.
