Schulte Vision Trainer Terms

These Terms apply to the Schulte Vision Trainer mobile app. They do not apply to the Quartenson website, which has separate website terms.

1. Use of the App

You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and applicable law. You agree not to misuse the app, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access to connected services.

2. Training, Health, and Safety

Schulte Vision Trainer is provided for visual-scanning, focus, and self-improvement practice. It is not medical, vision-care, therapeutic, diagnostic, or treatment advice. The app does not diagnose attention, cognitive, neurological, eyesight, or visual-field conditions, and it does not guarantee focus, cognitive, vision, reading-speed, sport, or everyday performance improvements.

Use the app only in safe situations. Do not train while driving, operating equipment, walking in unsafe places, or doing anything that requires your full attention. Stop using the app if you feel discomfort, eye strain, dizziness, headache, or other concerning symptoms.

3. Accounts

Some features may use account-based functionality, including Google Sign-In. You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining access to the credentials you control.

You may delete your account through the app. See the account deletion page for details.

4. Premium Features, Ads, and Subscriptions

The app may offer premium features, subscriptions, or ad-supported access. Purchases and billing are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play terms and policies.

• Subscription billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled through Google Play.
• Rewarded ads or other ad-supported flows may temporarily unlock selected features.
• Referral rewards, rewarded-ad access, lifetime/debug access, promotional Premium access, or similar benefits may be temporary, limited, modified, revoked for abuse, or expire separately from paid Google Play subscriptions.
• Premium availability, pricing, and feature scope may change over time.

5. Sharing, Export, and Import

The app may let you share session-result PNG images, export CSV backups, or import CSV backups through native share sheets and file pickers. You are responsible for choosing where files are shared or stored. Third-party apps, cloud-storage providers, messaging services, or other destinations you choose are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Backup files may contain app data such as session history, split/tap telemetry, settings, and daily-goal data. Keep exported files secure if you do not want others to access them.

6. Intellectual Property

The app, its design, branding, code, content, and related materials are owned by Quartenson or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app for its intended personal purpose.

7. Preview Features

Some releases or features may be offered in preview or limited-testing form. Preview functionality may be incomplete, unstable, or changed without notice.

8. No Guarantee of Availability

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the app will meet every user expectation or training goal.

9. Third-Party Services

The app may rely on third-party services such as Google Sign-In, Firebase, AdMob, Google Mobile Ads/UMP, Google Play, native share sheets, file pickers, and external web links. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after updated terms are published means you accept the revised Terms.
